What size are the snails?

Our snails in the Signature pack are medium-large and are selected for good size, quality, texture, and consistency. The Family pack contains smaller snails in larger quantities. After rehydration and cooking, they provide a satisfying bite and authentic fresh experience in traditional dishes.

How many snails are in each pouch?

Our Signature Pack contains 12 medium-large sized snails.

Our Family Pack contains approximately 60+ smaller sized snails.

Why are the snails freeze-dried?

Freeze-drying preserves flavor, texture and nutrients while making storage easier and extending shelf life. This allows you to enjoy snails anytime without sourcing challenges and reduces short term spoilage risk with frozen snails.

Preparation

How do I prepare the snails?

Place snails in a large pot of water, seasoned broth, soup, or sauce and boil on medium heat for about 60 minutes until softened to fresh texture. Then cook them into your preferred dish such as stew, soup, or peppered snails. Larger snails may require longer rehydration time.

Do they taste the same as fresh snails?

Once properly rehydrated and cooked, the snails deliver a rich, authentic flavor and satisfying texture that is comparable to fresh snails.
